Questions & Answers

During a sound session what instruments might be used?

Metal bowls, crystal bowls, tuning forks, drums, rattles, ganta, dorja, and tingsha.

What does a Holistic Approach mean?

A holistic approach supports the whole person and acknowledges that all aspects of a person are equal contributors to well-being. To support the whole person, the physical, social, emotional and spiritual aspects are not to be treated as separate, unrelated parts. These aspects must be treated together and integrated to achieve optimum health.

Appointments take place in Lawrenceville or Millvale, PA.

How do I prepare for my sound session?

Wear comfortable clothing such as athletic wear. You will be resting on your back on a padded floor or table. In some cases, you may sit in a chair. Please let The Realm knows days before your session if you have difficulty getting up and down from a floor. Drink water before and after the session.

How do I prepare for my reflexology session?

Wear comfortable clothing such as athletic wear. You will be resting on your back on a table for the session. Your feet need to be clear of any toenail infections or open wounds. If your feet have such issues upon examination, your session will be canceled. Please do not attend your session if you have a fever.

Should I eat or drink before a session?

Yes. Drinking water before a session is strongly recommended. You are also encouraged to drink water afterwards too.

Does The Realm use lotions, oils or incense?

Yes. If you have any allergies or sensitivities to smells, please let The Realm know several days before your session.

Can I bring an eye cover/sleep mask?

Sure. Lighting will be adjusted in the room to your preferences.

Does The Realm accept health insurance?

No.

What forms of payment are accepted for services?

Cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

Does The Realm conduct larger group sound sessions?

Tell me more about sound sessions for Couples/Pairs:

A couple/pair can be any combination of two people such as siblings, parent/child, caregiver/child, spouses or partners. Prior to your session, a discussion with The Realm would include crafting an objective or intention for the paired session. The benefit of a paired sound session is aligned energy fields. The challenges and distresses of life and relationships are opportunities to shift energy in order to rediscover resonance. The sound creates a vibrational shift and with that shift the pair receives new thoughts, emotions, and physical patterns to “tune-in” to each other and support a stronger bond.

Can I bring my child?

No. The only exception is if you have spoken with The Realm and have chosen a “paired sound session” which includes you and your child.
